About Daniiar

Daniiar comes from a small town in Kyrgyzstan where “it is rare to see rain but when it comes, it pours like buckets!” During vacations, he and his family spend time in the city or visit the nearby lake. Daniiar says, “these moments are dear to me.” He also has “irreplaceable friends” that he loves very much. They celebrate many birthdays and holidays throughout the year together. “They are very valuable to me because a lot of dear memories and moments in my life are associated with them,” Daniiar explains.

In his free time, Daniiar explores many hobbies! He loves playing his guitar, which he says is “relaxing” and helps him to “become more alert.” You will also often find him drawing, baking, and using his free time to volunteer with local organizations. He enjoys physical activities, such as volleyball, table tennis, and other exercises that create “a healthy body and mind.” Academically, Daniiar’s biggest interest is in biology, and he has participated in several biology Olympiads.

In the United States, Daniiar is very eager to “learn about the culture and social environment.” He is also enthusiastic to share about his country’s culture, food, games, and clothing with new family and friends! He hopes to continue working on being more “independent, confident, and adaptable.” These are all important traits to him that he plans to develop further while in his new host community!
