About Muhammad

Motivated Muhammad is very involved in school and community organizations, with student council being one his favorites! He shares that they “do charity work, organize educational events, and even plan fun activities for the local community!” Muhammad enjoys meeting new people through this organization as they are able to learn from one another through discussions about social issues, current events, and leadership. Recently, Muhammad has also become interested in debate and hopes to join his school’s debate club during his exchange year!

Muhammad values his friendships with others and is thankful to have friends with similar interests as it allows him to grow in his self-confidence and as a leader. When they aren’t attending debate or student council, Muhammad and his friends enjoy going on walks or exploring their town together. Another favorite hobby of Muhammad’s is listening to music as it allows him to relax and recharge after a busy day.

Looking ahead to his time in the US, Muhammad is very excited to live with a host family and shares, “I hope that I will be able to learn not only about US culture, but also about my host family’s traditions and daily routines!” As Muhammad is very close with his natural family, he hopes that his host family will also be nice, fun and caring, and have an interest in learning more about Muhammad’s country and culture. In addition to sharing about his culture, Muhammad also wants to let his host family know that he loves eating hamburgers and is excited to try an American burger in the US!
